Adotta Un Clementino
Adotta Un Clementino has invented an original way to sell a special product: the clementines of Corigliano Rossano
WHAT ARE THE CLEMENTINES OF CORIGLIANO ROSSANO
Clementines are a typical Calabrian product, a fruit that is a hybrid between a mandarin and a bitter orange. Born in Algeria, it then spread to southern Italy in the 40s. Clementine from Calabria has a high content of vitamin C and is suitable for fresh consumption, being very little acidic compared to other citrus fruits. Moreover, clementines possess fibers, calcium, potassium, magnesium and last but not least they are very good!
The clementine is also protected by the Calabria IGP certificate, however, as the video below shows, the Calabrian clementine of the absolute best quality is not that of Calabria IGP generic, but only and only one that grows in the Plain of Sibari, in particular in the municipality of Corigliano Rossano. And it is the Corigliano Rossano clementine that we at Gusti Del Sole have the honor of hosting.
The only problem with clementines? They are marketable only from November to February. But the company Adotta Un Clementino has found a brilliant method to overcome the problem!
THE GENIAL IDEA OF THE COMPANY ADOPTS A CLEMENTINO
The company Adotta Un Clementino had an idea as brilliant as it was simple: an interested person can "adopt" a Clementino tree at any time of the year. He will receive photos, certificate of adoption, he will see as the tree grows, until it bears fruit from November onwards. And it will be only then that the clementines, of their adopted tree, will be sent to the consumer.
The company has attracted so much curiosity for this unique method of selling the product, which is still appreciated by many VIPs. Moreover, all this represents a fantastic gift idea, and in fact over 70% of the adoptions are precisely adoptions-gifts to a loved one. But we refer to the product sheet below for more information!
